Les sept caractéristiques qui donnent sa grandeur au grand véhicule ཐེག་པ་ཆེན་པོ།  :

1. དམིགས་པ་ཆེན་པོ། Grand objectif.

2. སྒྲུབ་པ་ཆེན་པོ། Grande pratique.

3. ཡེ་ཤེས་ཆེན་པོ། Grande sapience.

4. བརྩོན་འགྲུས་ཆེན་པོ། Grand enthousiasme.

5. ཐབས་ལ་མཁས་པ་ཆེན་པོ། Grande habilité en les moyens, grande habilité en la méthode.

6. ཡང་དག་པ་སྒྲུབ་པ་ཆེན་པོ། Grand accomplissement.

7. འཕྲིན་ལས་ཆེན་པོ། maha karma/ Grande activité.
